THORNGREN READY TO SHINE ON THE LET

Sweden’s Emma Thorngren is ready to make her mark at this week’s Helsingborg Open at Allerum Golf Club as she makes her debut on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

Currently ranked 8th on the LET Access Series OOM, Emma was granted an invitation by the Swedish Golf Federation. This will enable her to take the next step in her professional journey.

“I’m thrilled and honored to play on the LET for the first time. It’s a huge opportunity for me to compete at this level and showcase my skills on a bigger stage. I’ve been working hard on my game and am extremely excited to play in front of local Swedish crowds” commented Thorngren.

It is not only the support of Swedish fans that has Emma excited this week. Local business and Helsingborg icon “Lakritsfabriken” who owns Northern Europe’s largest liquorice cultivation close to the tournament venue in Allerum has also offered their support.

“We are delighted to come on board as a sponsor to Emma this week. She continually cultivates her golf skills, and we are proud to offer her additional backing being so close to home” says Martin Jörgensen, CEO for Lakritsfabriken.

The Helsingborg Open will be contested at Allerum Golf Club from 2-4 June.

Emma is scheduled to tee off at 9:50 on Friday.
